What You’ll Do:
You will be responsible for building, maintaining and developing the enterprise monitoring system in a 24×7 production environment. Cooperate with international Technical and Operation staff in the definition of infrastructure and service monitoring, ensuring compliance with company processes and best practices.
As Monitoring Engineer within the Operations and IT Department, your main missions will be:
- Guarantee the End-to-End monitoring of video and connectivity services and their infrastructure in a 24×7 operations environment
- Maintain the monitoring platform and keep it up to date
- Design and implement new features to improve the monitoring and operations automation systems
What it Takes:
- MSc or equivalent degree (BAC+5) in Computer Science, Telecommunication or related fields
- Knowledge of IT and DVB monitoring applications (Dataminer, Nagios, Splunk, Grafana)
- Experience in administering Unix and Windows systems
- Good knowledge of scripting languages (C#, Python, Perl)
- Knowledge of Satellite Transmission systems
- Knowledge of Video Broadcasting Systems
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Good problem solving skills
- Collaborative team player
