What You’ll Do:
You will be responsible for the technical optimisation of the allocation and use of capacity in the space segment in order to ensure high quality service while maximising the income from the capacity.
As Planning & Resources Engineer within the Resources & Strategic Development Department and reporting to the Regional Head of Capacity Planning, your main missions will be:
- Determine, together with customers, operators, the capacity needed in the space segment for setting up services,
- Define the technical and operational characteristics of the carriers and ensure that they are compatible in terms of interference, determine their operating parameters and draw up the transmission plans.
- Allocate capacity in the space sector working alongside the Commercial Department and coordinate the work between the different internal entities involved.
- Write the technical appendices to the lease capacity agreements.
- Customer support relating to the space capacity management and project development
- Coordinate transfers of service from one satellite to another.
- Provide technical monitoring and management of transponders and coordinate progress, working with the Commercial Department
- Provide other technical and management assistance needed for the Group to function correctly.
What it Takes:
- Master’s degree (BAC+5) or equivalent in Telecommunications Engineering.
- Fluent in English is mandatory
What We’d Love:
- Experience in satellite telecommunications is an advantage
- Another language would be appreciated

The position is based at Issy les Moulineaux (Paris Area, France): modern offices just on the edge of Paris.
